LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A new report from the Bluegrass Institute is shedding light on the growing racial academic gap among students in Jefferson County Public Schools.
The Bluegrass Institute, a conservative non-profit think tank, says their latest report is proof and reason enough to renew a push for charter schools in Kentucky. The report reveals that there is a growing academic gap in African American students and Caucasian students in Jefferson County Public Schools.
