JCPS board approves 2.5 percent pay raise for employees

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS)-  Teachers and school employees in Jefferson County can look forward to a bigger paycheck next school year.

At Monday night's school board meeting, members approved a 2.5 percent pay raise.

The raise comes as part of a new contract, approved with the teachers union.

All district employees will benefit from this and the raise will apply to everyone.
