LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Mayor Greg Fischer will help break ground at a ceremony Tuesday for the new Southwest Regional Library.

The new library, which will be built near the Meijer located on Dixie Highway, is going to replace the current Southwest Library branch.

This 40,000 square foot facility will house more than 140,000 books and 100 public computers.

Classrooms and outdoor gardens will also be on site.

This $13 million library project is the first of three regional libraries currently in the works.
