(WHAS11) -- It is the new school year for the WHAS11 Excel Award and we start a new academic year of honoring great teachers at the Churchill Park School in Jefferson County.
Churchill Park has a special relationship with WHAS, as a recipient of funding from the Crusade for Children.
Kim Nalley has been teaching in the Jefferson County School system for almost 32 years and at Churchill Park her classroom is a combination of early childhood education, and children with disabilities.
