(WHAS 11)--JCPS is taking the lead in a new system set up to help college hopefuls.
Soon Kentucky high school seniors will be able to send their transcripts electronically to colleges and universities in the state.
JCPS is slated to become the first district to implement the system.
Lieutenant Governor and former Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson will formally introduce this E-transcript Program.
The announcement is July 29 at Waggener High School.
