CLOUT members confront JCPS over suspension policy

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A local group was in attendance at Monday evening’s Jefferson County Public Schools board meeting making it standing room only.

At times, tensions boiled over.

Citizens of Louisville United and Organized Together or CLOUT, want school board members to change their suspension policy.

They asked to have meetings with Superintendent Donna Hargens but she refuses to have any more meetings with the group.

The group says its concerned about safety and racial bias with the school district
