LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Three more Jefferson County high schools are asking for students to be allowed to use their cell phones and smart devices in the classroom.

On Monday, Jan. 13, the public school board will meet and according to the agenda Doss, Moore and Pleasure Ridge Park will ask for the waiver that's already been granted to eight other schools.

Phone use is allowed under the condition that phones and devices are used appropriately and at teacher discretion.
