Not every trick-or-treater will be getting candy when they visit one home in Fargo, North Dakota Thursday night.
The woman says letters will be handed out to any child she believes is overweight. She hopes it will bring awareness to the child's family that changes need to be made to their diet.
The letter says, "You [sic] child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season."
She goes onto write, "My hope is that you will step up as a parent and ration candy this Halloween and not allow your child to continue these unhealthy eating habits."
The woman went onto a North Dakota radio station to talk about the letters.
