LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kids at Kosair Children's Hospital got a visit from some of the biggest names in horse racing.
Hall of Fame jockeys Pat Day and Calvin Borel, along with a dozen others, made the trip out before their night races began June 20. They delivered toys and gifts to the patients of the hospital.
Jockey Rosie Napravnik, who was scheduled to join them, was unable to make the trip; she's recovering from a shoulder injury during a ride last weekend at Churchill Downs.
The jockeys returned to Churchill for their round of night racing at Downs after Dark. The theme for the evening---Hawaiian.
