Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A cancer diagnosis isn't slowing down one pup from Maryland. That's because the sick pooch has quite the bucket list.
Before fine China, and sofa's and big screen TVs, one newly married couple wanted a dog. Once they looked into Joe's eyes, they knew he had to come home. They've had him just two years when he was diagnosed with cancer.
"We haven't gotten even the chance to enjoy him," his owners said.
Little Joe didn't have such a great start in life; he lived in and out of motels, didn't go on walks and never played with toys. But his owners are making sure that his final days are the best he's had.
His "mommy," as she calls herself, has come up with 15 items on Joe's bucket list.
He has gone on a blind date, eaten an ice cream cone and took a donation to the Maryland SPCA.
He also has ridden in a fire truck, eaten a Big Mac and has a meeting with baby Shomali in December.
