LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The murder case against a man accused of killing a witness is back on.
The charges against Dejuan Hammond were dismissed in October because of the lack of witnesses.
Now Hammond has been re-indicted in the murder of Troya Sheckles.
Sheckles witnessed her boyfriend's murder and was killed in a Louisville park in 2009. She was set to testify against Hammond's brother but was shot to death before she could take the stand.
Hammond will be in court for his arraignment Monday afternoon, Jan. 6.
