LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested two Louisville men, 24-year-old Patrick Adams and 23-year-old Shaquille Gidron, on Nov. 25 after a robbery at a liquor store in the 700 block of Algonquin Parkway on Nov. 24.
According to a police report on Nov. 24 at 12:41 a.m. Gidron confronted Adams, who is an employee at the liquor store, behind the store with a gun and forced Adams back into the store.
Police say Gidron ordered Adams to give him the store’s cash which he was given and then fled. Police said Adams called 911 and reported the robbery.
Police said through their investigation they found out Adams and Gidron know each other and are friends. They say the two men orchestrated the robbery and Adams was a willing participant; both men admitted to their involvement.
After police searched Adams’ home they say they found the money he received from the robbery. When police searched Gidron’s home they found the rest of the cash, gun used in the robbery and the clothes he was seen wearing in the businesses surveillance video.
Adams is charged with theft by unlawful taking and falsely reporting an incident. Gidron is charged with robbery.
