LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville food service worker is facing charges after she was accused of stealing money while working a beer stand at a University of Louisville game.
According to the arrest report, 35-year-old Demonica Adams was working for Centerplate at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium over the weekend. A stand manager approached police officers and told them he believed Adams had taken money when another employee said Adams was stealing money.
Police said they located Adams and as they were escorting her to the manager's office she became "loud and belligerent." Adams began cursing the officers and caused alarm to patrons in the area. According to the report, officers tried to put handcuffs on Adams, but she resisted and had to be physically restrained.
Officers spoke with the manager who told them Adams placed $13 in her pocket. However, officers only found $9 in her pocket, which they said she admitted stealing $2.
Adams was officially place under arrest and was taken to Metro Corrections for processing. Once at Metro Corrections, police said the found an additional $166 concealed in Adams vaginal area.
Adams is charged with tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, theft by unlawful taking and disorderly conduct.
