LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman has been arrested for the burglary of a home on the day after Christmas where children's presents were taken.

According to police, Kenisha Davis broke into a home on December 26 and stole Christmas presents including shoes, clothing, a Wii gaming system and games. A TV and computer were also taken, as well as cash from a bedroom drawer.

Police said Davis and the homeowner were friends and that Davis had previously been in the home and noticed all those gifts. They said she stole her key and made a copy, but the homeowner had the locks changed immediately.

The homeowner was able to locate some of her items through a witness and that was the evidence police needed to make an arrest.

Davis is charged with Burglary.
