(WHAS11) -- St. Matthews police say they have arrested a woman accused of driving eradicate and receiving stolen property from an accused shoplifter at Mall St. Matthews.
According to court documents, Lanisha Walker was arrested Wednesday when she allegedly picked up a shoplifter in the mall's parking lot. An officer tried to stop the car, but they say she sped away at a high rate of speed, endangering the lives of many other people in the parking lot. She eventually got on US 60 and I-264 before police surrendering to police.
Once stopped, police found $924.30 worth of stolen clothing. They also found a sensor remover and screw driver used to remove security sensors.
Walker is charged with Fleeing or Evading police, Wanton Endangerment, Reckless Driving and receiving stolen property.
