Woman accused of hitting father of her children with van on Dixie Hwy.

Shanice Brown was arrested and is charged with domestic violence, three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) – On May 11 police said 26-year-old Shanice Brown hit the father of her three children on Dixie Highway after a fight at Brown’s apartment.

According to the police report the man was coming from Brown’s apartment, on Clifton Place, after Brown had punched him in the eye.

Police said after Brown had hit him in the face she chased him with a large rock or brick to Dixie Highway and to catch up to him she got into her van.

Brown told police she was driving in the right lane, traveling southbound on Dixie Highway, when she saw the man. Police said Brown stated she intentionally drove the van into the man. According to the police report she wanted him to leave her alone and she wanted to put an end to it.
According to the police report the children were in the van at the time.

According to the police report, Brown told police she had slapped him in the face and then the man had punched her, at her apartment, before she chased him with the rock and hit him with her van.

Brown was arrested and is charged with domestic violence, three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.
