NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) – There is a delay in the second murder trial of suspected serial killer William Clyde Gibson in New Albany.
Gibson was set to go on trial for the murder of Stephanie Kirk in January but on Wednesday, Dec. 18, the judge granted a continuance in that case.
Gibson is now set to stand trial in June. His April trial date in the murder of Karen Hodella has now been pushed back to October.
Gibson has already been sentenced to death after he was found guilty in the murder of Christine Whitis.
An execution date has been set for November.
