Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - WHAS11 News has learned that University of Louisville football player Johnny Patrick is facing an assault charge.
The U of L cornerback was arrested June 27 after allegedly throwing a woman to the ground following an argument and struggle over a telephone.
Patrick pled not guilty the day after the alleged incident and was ordered to stay away from the complaining witness.
The University of Louisville has given no comment.
