LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The campus police for University of Louisville are investigating after a student claimed he was robbed in his home, the Providence Apartment Complex on Ruggles Place.

Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Austin Brandon claims two men forced their way into his apartment. The third year student says the two men started to beat him when a friend walked out of the back room.

"They told us to get in the closet, held us at gunpoint and it was my neighbors downstairs and over here... when that happened they grabbed the laptop, they took the phone and they ran," Austin Brandon, UofL Student, said.

The student says the robbery was interrupted when neighbors knocked on the door.

Isaiah Reece and Mark Scrivner are charged with robbery and burglary.

Brandon questions whether there is enough security at the complex.
