LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested two people in the 7800 block of Dixie Highway on April 17 after police said detectives found crystal meth and pills in their vehicle.

According to a police report detectives saw 27-year-old Michael Skaggs driving a silver Accord on Dixie Highway with expired registration.

When police stopped Skaggs and the passenger, 34-year-old Amber Busch, they gave the officer consent to search the vehicle, police said.

According to police a K9 narcotics dog positively indicated on the Accord and detective recovered a tin with crystal meth and unknown pills.

Skaggs and Busch are charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and possession of a controlled substance, two counts.
