LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- On July 5, police said 23-year-old Nathon Kelso, 23-year-old Michael Decker and a third person entered the home of a 71-year-old woman by force with handguns, took property and tied the woman up with zip ties.
According to police, Kelso and Decker entered the home by kicking in the back door at 4 a.m.
LMPD said the property that was removed from the home was valued at more than $4,000 and the victim was restrained for nearly two hours while the property was taken out of the house.
The 71-year-old woman was able to get to her neighbor and LMPD was contacted, according to police.
Police said Decker was positively identified after leaving a fingerprint on a water bottle. According to the police report, when Decker was arrested he admitted to the incident in a recorded statement and then implicated Kelso and a third person.
Kelso is charged with robbery in the first degree. Decker is charged with burglary in the first degree.
