(WHAS11) -- The trial of a suspected serial killer has been delayed before it even began. During a pre-trial hearing Thursday, a Floyd County judge pushed William Clyde Gibson's trial back from February to July.
This was done at the request of Gibson's attorneys who say they need more time to go through all the evidence.
The judge also allowed three weeks for jury selection. The pool of jurors will come from Dearborn County, Indiana.
Gibson is charged with the death of three southern Indiana women Christine Whitis, Stephanie Kirk and Karen Hodella.
