LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The murder trial begins Monday for two men accused of killing a man and injuring two others when they opened fire at a kickball game in August 2011.

Quinton Wilson and William Smith are charged with murder.

Police said Wilson and Smith opened fire in to a crowd of more than 100 people during the game at Shawnee Park. Due to the number of handguns found at the scene, investigators said they believe the shooting stemmed from some type of gang activity and the victims, 20-year-old Antonio Anderson and the two injured, were hit in the crossfire.

Wilson and Smith are two of four suspects; a teen and another man, Tyrone Mack, are also facing a murder charged in connection with the shooting.
