LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – David Booher, a suspect in a Clarksville shooting, was arrested in Louisville, according to Clarksville Police Chief Mark Palmer.

The police said Booher was arrested, without incident, in front of a rooming house on Shelby Street in Louisville.

Booher was arrested on felony theft charges out of Clark County, Ind, Palmer said. He has not been charged in the shooting at this time and he will be extradited to Indiana.

The shooting happened on Montgomery Avenue around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police said they were called to the 200 block of Montgomery and upon arrival found a woman inside her apartment suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim told police she was walking into her living room when the shot came through the front window of the apartment and struck her.

The victim was transported to University of Louisville Hospital and is expected to be OK.

During their investigations, officers said they found what appears to be a bullet hole in the window.
