LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A victim nearly escaped tragedy after police say a man with a stolen vehicle led police on a short chase in Louisville’s west end.
Police say they noticed 32-year-old Robert Moore operating a stolen vehicle near 22nd and Chestnut Streets.
When officers attempted to stop Moore, they say he sped off causing a collision with another vehicle causing it to crash into a front porch at a nearby residence.
According to the report, the car Moore was traveling in flipped over on impact. The two passengers inside the vehicle were not hurt.
Moore is facing three counts of wanton endangerment, robbery in the first degree and criminal mischief charges.
He’s currently booked at Louisville Metro Corrections.
