'Spider-Man' robbery at Frankfort gas station

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Frankfort Police are looking for a robber who held up a gas station wearing a Spider-Man mask.

At 9:39 PM, on Saturday, December 15, 2012, police received a robbery report from the Marathon Station located 1009 Holmes Street.

The victim employee told police that one perpetrator armed with a small black handgun, entered the store and demanded money.

The perpetrator fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.  The suspect ran across Holmes Street and was last seen on Noel Avenue.  Frankfort Police K-9 units searched the area. 

The suspect is described as follows; White/male; wearing a green long sleeve shirt with a white under shirt, light colored blue jeans & sandals.  The suspect concealed his face with a red spider-man mask.

Frankfort Police are asking anyone who may information on this crime to call them at 502 875-8523.
