LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)—A Bardstown man is facing charges of animal cruelty after police found six dogs in an abandoned van.
Charles Davis was arrested on Monday in Louisville. Police officials said officers were called to Purcell Avenue in Bardstown, where they found a van with six pit bulls inside.
According to a police report, the dogs were agitated and chewing the van’s interior. There was no food or water inside the vehicle.
There is no report on how long the dogs were left in the car while Davis was in Louisville.
