NEW YORK CITY, Ny. (WHAS11) -- Two people are recovering and a manhunt is underway after a shooting at a popular ice rink in New York City.

Emergency crews responded around 11 p.m. Saturday night to the public ice rink in Bryant Park. A man in his 20's was apparently shot in the arm and a 14-year-old boy was shot in the back.

Doctors say these injuries are non life-threatening but the family of the 14-year-old say he may be paralyzed and may never walk again.

Police say they don't know the reason for the shooting at this time and are still searching for suspects.
