Shively woman arrested after Facebook dispute with boyfriend

Halima Ali was arrested after police say she assaulted and attempted to hold her boyfriend at knifepoint after Facebook dispute.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police have arrested a woman who they say attempted to hold victim at knifepoint in the 3700 block of Dena Drive.

Police say 19-year-old Halima Ali threatened to kill her boyfriend after claims he was talking to various girls on Facebook.

When the victim tried to leave, Ali pulled out a knife trying to force him to stay. Victim was able to wrestle knife away from Ali but was struck numerous times in the face.

Ali is facing multiple charges including wanton endangerment in the first degree, terroristic threatening in the third degree and assault in the fourth degree.
