SHIVELY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police are searching for suspect who robbed a Shively bank Thursday morning.

Police say the US Bank located at 4021 Dixie Highway was robbed by one suspect and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. According to a news release, the individual demanded cash from the teller’s drawer with a written note. Once he had been given the money from the teller’s drawer the suspect then fled on foot.

No one was hurt during this robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his mid 30’s to early 40’s, thin to medium build, 5 foot 6 inches–5 foot 9 inches, eye glasses, possibly with either dark or salt and pepper colored hair and mustache.

The subject was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants with a possible light checkered pattern flannel pajama pants. The subject was also wearing gloves and placed the money in a brown paper bag.
