(WHAS11) -- The Meade County's Sheriff Office said the person responsible for the two bomb threats made at Meade County High School will face charges.
The announcement was made at the school on Wednesday.
The sheriff said he offered to work with that person so they could avoid prosecution, but no one came forward after the announcement.
Now, authorities said they plan to prosecute.
According to the school district, if there are any more threats, students will have to make up the time that's missed.
On Monday and Tuesday, students were forced to stand outside as police searched the school after two different threatening notes were found.
