LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville teenager is facing robbery charges after police say he stole another teenager’s scooter by force.

The incident happened in the 7000 block of Briscoe Lane where the victim and his friend were playing basketball.

According to the police report, Brian Clancy approached the two and demanded the victim’s keys and his scooter. When the victim refused, Clancy picked up a rock and stated “don’t make us do this.”

Police say an unidentified accomplice of Clancy pushed the victim’s friend and both then fled taking the victim’s scooter.

The victim was able to positively identify Clancy because both attended the same school.
Clancy is facing robbery in the second degree.
