Judge delays trial of man accused of raping, strangling Clarksville teen

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The man investigators said admitted to strangling a 17-year-old girl at her Clarksville apartment back in March was in court Monday and a judge delayed his trial.

Richard Hooten is facing murder and rape charges in connectin with the death of Tara Willenborg. 

His defense team asked a judge for more time to prepare and the judge agreed, delaying the trial until Nov. 5.
