INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A girls’ high school soccer team from Southern Indiana had several items stolen worth thousands of dollars, from their bus in Indianapolis.
The Providence High School girls' soccer team is in Indianapolis to compete in the state championships on Saturday.
While they were at dinner on Friday night someone broke into their bus and stole at least 15 iPads and several iPhones with a value of nearly $10,000.
Police are investigating and one of the girl's was able to track the stolen devices using an app on her own iPad but they lost the signal.
The coach says the girls are very upset and even had to miss their practice on Friday night. But he says they are still ready for the big game on Saturday.
