ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Three people are behind bars in Elizabethtown, charged in the rape of an eight year-old girl. Police say the abuse happened repeatedly in an RV parked in front of an Elizabethtown home.
Georgia Peña says the first time she saw the eight0year0old living across the street, in July, she worried something was wrong. Peña’s children invited the girl over to play and she told them Todd Livingston, the man she lived with, was her father.
After a call from the Peñas, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office stepped in, and heard the girl tell the graphic tale of how she was vaginally, orally, and anally raped with the threat of violence throughout the month of July.
Livingston, 49, has been indicted on first degree rape, two counts of first degree sodomy, and first degree sexual abuse. His roommate, Dean Tinsley, 44, is also charged with first degree rape and sodomy.
It is unclear why Camilla Clark, the victim’s mother allowed her child to spend time at Livingston’s home since according to investigators neither of the accused rapists was related to the victims or in a relationship with the mother. WHAS11 stopped by to find out, but Clark had been arrested an hour earlier.
Clark was arrested Monday afternoon on second degree child abuse charges, because investigators say she was aware of the abuse for at least a year and a half, and advised her daughter to ignore it.
