LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Once again police are looking for a pregnant woman who escaped custody while being treated at a Southern Indiana hospital.

This time, however, police in Jefferson County are looking for Bridgette Sims. A warrant was issued for Sims after she skipped out on a court hearing Thursday.

Sims is facing drug charges in Louisville. She was out of jail on bond after being arrested and charged with theft in New Albany, Ind.

Just two weeks ago, while still in custody in Floyd County, Sims walked away from Floyd Memorial Hospital. A judge decided not to charge Sims with escape after she turned herself in to police.

If you have any information about Sims whereabouts call local police or the LMPD anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
