LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police are searching for two women involved in stealing more than 1500 lottery tickets.

It happened on April 16th. At 3:30am, the woman backed a red Monte Carlo into the glass doors of the Next Door convenience store on Newburg Road. That's when she went inside and stole the tickets. Surveillance videos showed another woman enter the store briefly. She is wanted for questioning.

Just hours after stealing the tickets, the woman went to Top Notch grocery store on Algonquin Parkway and cashed in the winners. She made off with about $200. The woman faces charges of third degree burglary and unlawful access to a computer.

If you have any information, call 564-LMPD.
