SELLERSBURG, Ind. (News release) -- The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery and is asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

Police said an armed man entered the Days Inn Motel in Sellersburg around 2:30 p.m.Wednesday, approached the clerk and demanded money. The suspect fled the motel on foot and got into a black or dark colored car.

The suspect is described as 5' 6" to 5' 9", weighing approximately 150 - 170 lbs. The suspect was wearing a black or dark blue zippered hoodie, white T-shirt, black hat with a white design, light colored khaki pants and white and black high top tennis shoes. Police said the suspect has a mustache and goatee.
