LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man was arrested Monday after witnesses identified him as the man who fired shots at a home on W. Market Street.

According to the arrest report, 18-year-old Caleb Pace and an unidentified suspect drove by the home in the 4500 block and fired off multiple rounds.

Police said the shots hit the home more than 10 times and missed two small children by inches. The rounds also struck a nearby vehicle with two passengers inside and two people standing outside.

In all, at least seven people were put at risk of serious physical injury or death, police said.

The report states the shooting was motivated by a separate incident where an unoccupied vehicle owned by a third party was damaged.

Pace is charged with seven counts of wanton endangerment and one count of criminal mischief.
