Police investigating possibility of fraudulent sale of advertising for basketball tournament

FRANKFORT, Ky. (NEWS RELEASE) -- Frankfort Police are currently investigating the possible fraudulent sale of advertising for the program for the 41st district basketball tournament. 

The suspect, Carl Elovitz, Jr., claims to represent "The Athletic Department". The documents he presents, list this company address as a Post Office box in Lexington.

In addition, police have learned that Elovitz is the subject of outstanding arrest warrants in Fayette, Woodford, Jessamine and Anderson counties.

The 60-year-old Elovitz is a white male who lists a Lexington address.

Frankfort Police are asking anyone who may have information about this investigation or the location of Elovitz to call the Frankfort Crime Stoppers at (502) 875-8648.
