LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Two suspects are still on the loose after a shooting at the Gardiner Lane Shopping Center on Bardstown Road that injured two men at 6:30 p.m Friday, Sept. 20.

One witness said five shots rang out from behind Buckhead Mountain Grill.  Two black men were shot, according to Police; one in the back and the other in the stomach.

The police say they are looking for two suspects; both male and in a darker, older SUV.

The shooting victims, a 30-year-old and 28-year-old, have non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to University Hospital.

Sheri Carbone walked out of a store and to her car in the middle of one of the two crime scenes set up by police.

“I saw blood on the ground,” Carbone said.

She saw the two victims leaning up against her car.  They seemed weak, but were silent, according to Carbone.

“They just looked like they were waiting to be treated,” she said.

SKY11 was over the scene: MOBILE or COMPUTER.

Investigators are unsure what the motive could be for the shooting, but an officer followed the two ambulances taking the victims to University Hospital.

"I hope whoever did this, they can find the person,” said Carbone.  “And I hope that it's gonna be all right - that the boys in the hospital are gonna be OK."

**EDITOR'S NOTE: Police had originally said the suspect fled in an orange SUV. **
