LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A police pursuit that began near Hikes Point ended without incident and the suspect is in custody.
Police said 18-year old Aaron Wallace stole a car from the Meijer parking lot off Hurstbourne Parkway before leading them on a four county chase - nearly striking a pedestrian as he was leaving the parking lot.
Police first spotted the vehicle on Bardstown Road and that is where the chase started. Police pursued the suspect all the way to Nelson County before they used stop sticks to flatten the car's tires.
Wallace has been charged for robbery, fleeing and evading police, and wanton endangerment.
