LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting that killed a man and injured at woman at the Dosker Manor apartments.
Twenty-four-year-old Tyjuan R. Moody was booked into Metro Corrections Friday morning, May 16.
He is accused of killing 29-year-old Richard Spencer, a resident of Dosker Manor. Spencer was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A woman, who was 40 weeks pregnant the time of the shooting, was injured. She was shot twice in the abdomen and transported to the hospital where she underwent an emergency c-section.
Both mom and baby are expected to be OK.
Police said the shooting stemmed from a dispute between Moody and Spencer and Spencer also fired a gun during the altercation.
Police said once ballistic results come in they will know whose bullets hit the pregnant woman.
Moody is charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a hand gun by a convicted felon and tampering with physical evidence.
According to Metro Corrections records, Moody was served with two bench warrants as well and is charged with harassment, criminal mischief, assault and fleeing or evading police charges stemming for two incidents that happened before Tuesday's shooting.
