LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department and Shively Police are investigating four robberies that happened over a 12 hour period on June 9 that led to the arrest of 31-year old Justin Marcell.
Police said the first three robberies were in Louisville and the fourth was in Shively. All of the places Marcell robbed were businesses, according to police.
According to police they believe substance abuse was the motive for Marcell.
Marcell was on parole for the robberies that happened in 2002, according to police.
Marcell is charged with four counts of robbery in the first degree.
