LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A bank robbery suspect is behind bars awaiting court after police said he robbed a local bank.
Thirty-four-year-old Eric P. Johnson is suspected of robbing the BB&T Bank on West Broadway Dec. 15.
According to court documents, Johnson entered the bank and presented a teller with a demand note. Police said he threatened to shoot bank employees if the did not comply.
The suspect did get away with some cash, police said, but officers caught up with him later the same day.
Johnson is charged with first degree robbery.
