LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a local store after allegedly being found with multiple illegal drugs after attempting to shoplift.
According to police, Marissa Layman, 20, was observed by Meijer security trying to conceal items in her purse at their store in the 9500 block of Preston Highway.
Police said Layman walked out of the store without attempting to pay for the $121.59 worth of store merchandise.
Police were called and found heroin, pills, a spoon, Q Tips and a straw in her purse.
Marissa Layman is charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and shoplifting.
