LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police have arrested two parents after they say loaded guns and drugs were within their children’s reach.
Amy Harris and Jaren Haynes were arrested after a police search in the 3700 black of Falcon Crest Drive revealed a loaded assault rifle on the floor, a handgun on the dresser, a digital scale for measuring marijuana and a bag of marijuana under the mattress.
Harris’ 5-year-old and two-month-old children were in the apartment at the time.
Both are facing drug charges and child endangerment.
