Police: Officer finds cocaine in man’s belly button during search

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A LMPD officer found a bag of cocaine in 30-year-old Travis Morgan’s belly button during a search on August 15 before he was entered into the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections at 400 South 6th Street.

According to the police report, the officer asked Morgan if he had any drugs or weapons, before the search, and Morgan said no.

During the search the officer felt an object in Morgan’s belly button and the item was removed, according to police. Police say it was a small bag of suspected crack cocaine.

Police say the officer asked Morgan about it and Morgan said it was just his belly button.
