LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A south Louisville mother is accused of leaving her 8-month-old son alone in a car in cold temperatures.
Alana Alvey is charged with wanton endangerment.
Police say they found the baby boy alone in the backseat of the car on Barret Lane last night.
The temperature outside was just 37 degrees and police say the car was unlocked, wasn't running and didn't even have a working heater.
