LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man accused of stealing from a local Home Depot and returning the merchandise for store gift cards.
According to court records, Charles Dentith went to a Home Depot and took items without paying for them. Dentith would then return the items for store gift cards and sell the gift cards at Action Cards or Dan's Pawn Shop.
Police said Dentith 21 of the transactions, receiving more than $3,000.00 in gift cards.
Dentith is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
